ur lesson program was established as an opportunity for both children and adults in the area to learn how to ride in a safe, professional and fun atmosphere. We have qualified instructors for all levels of riding. Lessons begin at the early age of 5 years old and up. Our lesson ponies and horses are honest and trustworthy.

When you arrive at Fox Crossing Equestrian we want to help you learn the skills necessary to ride. We will teach you how to tack up a horse, the care of tack, how to groom a horse, how to ride, as well as eventually being in a horse show if that is your goal. We care about you, your safety and your well-being.  Most of all we like to have fun in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment!

LESSON POLICIES

Lessons are available on our trustworthy school horses. We will match you with a horse that best fits your needs keeping in mind that each horse has its own personality.  We want your riding experience with us to be safe, fun and encouraging!

For your comfort and safety it is required that you wear breeches, jodphurs or long pants; boots or shoes with a heel and a riding helmet with a harness, to the correct ASTM/SEI safety standard.

The duration of your lesson can vary from 30-60 minutes based on each individual rider and instructor.  Lessons will be instructed by qualified instructors ranging in many disciplines.  Feel free to tell us about yourself and we will try to match you up with someone we will feel you would enjoy and learn from.

The facilities will not be available to visiting instructors unless approved by the owner.

Clients should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to a lesson to help groom and tack the horse.

Clients who arrive more that 15 minutes after their scheduled lesson are subject to cancellation or a shortened lesson.

LESSONS MUST END WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF THEIR SCHEDULED TIME.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to full charge.
