Camp at Fox Crossing Equestrian
Some of our activities include:
English riding lessons on trustworthy school horses.
Learn horse husbandry: grooming, tacking & parts of the horse.
Play learning games and enjoy arts and crafts.
Make new friends in a safe, friendly environment.
Weekly cooking and gardening fun.
Sprinkler/Water games and outdoor games.
Riders participating in contiguous sessions will receive instruction at progressive levels.

Fox Crossing Equestrian offers references and we are happy to share their child's experience with us! We have been running an active summer camp since we started and continue to grow every summer! Our campers range from those who have never sat on a pony to those who compete every weekend. If you have any questions, please call us at (860) 567-1788. Advanced Camp at Fox Crossing Equestrian
Registration approval is based on riding level ability. Riders participating in the advanced camps must be able to canter with ease around a ring on different horses. Participants should be interested in learning to jump small x-rails and verticals.
Camp Highlights include guest speakers, trail riding off-property, weekly BBQs, field trips, and off-property horse shows (show fees are additional).
2026 Camp Pricing (per week):
Weekly: M - F: 9 am - 1 pm $575.00 Drop off no earlier than 8:50 please!
Early Drop/ Late stay $25 per hour. (Non - Riding)
Additional Riding Lessons after camp: $55.00 (Group) / $85.00 (Private)
(Those wanting more riding time can request to schedule additional lessons).
How to Register:
$300.00 Non-refundable deposit (per week) is required to hold a spot with the balance due for all summer camp weeks 2 months prior to the first day of camp.
Weeks fill quickly so registration without a deposit cannot be held. A confirmation and payment instructions will be sent to you upon receipt of receiving registration form. If paying by credit card, a 3.5% convenience fee will be included. Once payments are made there are no refunds.
Requirements:
All campers MUST wear long pants & a boot or riding boot with a ½” heel. No sneakers or rain boots.
Campers should arrive with lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. No Bicycle Helmets are permitted at camp. No electronics, please!

FCE campers come from surrounding towns in CT including Morris, Bethlehem, Washington, Roxbury, Litchfield, New Preston, New Milford, Harwinton, Kent, Torrington, Sharon, New York City, Boston, New Jersey, Long Island, Florida, England and more visiting for the summer!
What you need:
Riders must come dressed in long pants, leggings or breeches, boots with a heel (no spaghetti straps or mid-drift tops), and a certified riding helmet.
Camp drop-off is between 8:50 am and 9 am daily. All riders must bring a snack, a drink (water bottle) and a lunch. It is suggested to have a change of clothes, bathing suit and towel for very warm days when we have water activities. All riders must have a valid waiver, and full payment prior to starting the session.
