Fox Crossing Equestrian was a lifelong dream for owner Cindy Italiaander. In 2008, she purchased what was then a run-down, backyard stable as a labor of love to create a space for her two boys to ride. Today, Fox Crossing is a premiere hunter/jumper riding facility — home to nearly 40 boarder and lesson horses, where literally thousands of children and adults have developed their riding skills over the years. Cindy is present at the barn daily to ensure a safe, educational and fun experience for every rider.

Situated on 25 private acres, Fox Crossing Equestrian, LLC is a full-service equine boarding facility capable of handling all of your equestrian needs. Voted one of Litchfield County's top premier riding and boarding facilities since 2008 — we offer a variety of professional services in a welcoming, friendly and safe atmosphere. Excellent daily care for both boarders and their horses is always our number one priority.
We offer instruction for all levels and abilities, along with boarding, leasing, and training. Training/lessons are available in Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation, and Dressage. Our instructors are well known for their ability to teach both children and adults. Each instructor has a wide range of teaching and riding experiences to share with you.

Office Hours: Please leave a message on our barn phone if we are not available to schedule a visit and we will get back to you within 24 hours!
Boarder Hours: Monday - Saturday, 8 am - 8 pm; Sunday, 8 am – 5 pm. Boarders wishing to come during closed hours may make arrangements with the barn manager.
Public Hours: Please call to schedule all tours, hacks, and lessons. Our doors are always open to everyone; we would just like someone to be there to greet you.
